This site has been developed to conform to level AA of the World Wide Web Consortium’s (W3C) Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.1. These guidelines are the internationally recognised benchmark for building accessible websites. Conformity to these guidelines also makes websites user-friendlier for everyone.

Accessibility Accreditation

Such is our commitment to accessibility, we asked the Shaw Trust Accessibility Services to audit this site for accessibility. Shaw Trust, who are an independent body, have awarded our website with the Shaw Trust Web Accreditation to the AA Standard. Any website carrying this mark has been tested by people with a wide range of disabilities and found to be accessible.

The Shaw Trust web accreditation process is rigorous. Over 60 hours of testing by disabled web users goes into each and every accreditation. This is in addition to a stringent technical assessment.
